A Ski Slope Turned into a Colorful Canvas

As part of the Elevation 1049 project, Swiss artist Olaf Breuning transformed a snowy mountainside in Gstaad, Switzerland into a giant canvas dripping with bright colors. Chance, improvisation and spontaneity are the elements that the artist used to create this playful installation. Using food coloring mixed with snow, Breuning randomly splashed the colorful liquid onto the surface of the ski slope with plastic sleds, allowing it to find its own route down the sloping path.

One Day You Will Be My Child

The collection depicts a rather adorable child assuming a variety of possible occupations. There is a baby chef, a baby friar, a baby military man, even a fist-pumping baby superhero.
