Zweibrücken in Germany is known as the City of Roses since located there The Rose Garden of Princess Hildegard of Bavaria grows more than 60,000 roses of 2,000 varieties. Inspired by this fact German artist Ottmar Hörl created a massive public art installation entitled “1,000 Roses for Zweibrücken”. For one month, 1,000 plastic red roses have been arranged in a visually striking grid-like pattern on the ground.
The modular sofa “Concentré de Vie” is a result of collaboration Matali Crasset with Campeggi. The seating object is composed of a box component and five soft elements: two square cushions, two L-shaped cushions and a rectangular pad; all of which can be arranged in a number of configurations to function as an armrest, footstool or pouf, the main structural frame acting as a binding agent that can be used as a single bed.
The new house is on a plot of land near Stuttgart, Germany on a hillside with a generous view of the valley. The owners wanted a new home that would bring this view to life even inside of the building. The house is in a residential area with conventional developments, most of which date from the 1960s.
When we’re talking about wooden sculptures the first things came in mind is figures of people, animals, fruits etc. But American sculptor Tom Eckert breaks stereotypes. “Tom Eckert received his M.F.A. degree from Arizona State University, with advanced study at California State University at Northridge. He uses a wide variety of woodworking techniques in his sculptural pieces, including laminating, bending, carving, turning and painting.”

In the series Paradise Parking photographer shows how nature takes over abandoned creations of human hands, how lying for decades old cars, overgrown with moss and ivy entangled, become a harmonious part of the surrounding space.
