Abandoned subway station

Paris, London or New York have a lot of underground tunnels that were completely abandoned and forgotten. Some stations were excluded from use because of low traffic. Nathalie Koziuscot-Morizet plans to revitalize the area. Projects are different. These include, for example, swimming pool, theater, restaurant and nightclub. Upon successful ballot one of them will be implemented in life.

To introduce the new Renault Eolab concept, UFO and Sebastien Cannone staged a fresh and innovative spot. The car emerge from water, which explains its thermal-electric hybrid feature. A car that consumes a little (1L/100km), and that hold a lot of technical innovations.

Dizzy Architecture Views

Here is a series of photographs made by the artist Markus Studtmann: he captures architectural facades and staircases, mostly by low angle, to emphasize the graphic beauty and hypnotic movement of structures. Some shots are retouched so as to give an impression of optical illusions.

Build yourself a conversation pit in the living room

A conversation pit is an architectural feature that incorporates built-in seating into a depressed section of flooring within a larger room. This area often has a table in the center as well. The seats typically face each other in a centrally focused fashion, bringing the occupants closer together than free-standing tables and chairs normally would. In residential design this proximity facilitates comfortable human conversation, dinner parties, and table top games. Their disadvantages include accidental falls and uncomfortable interactions with those standing above in the main room.
