Suntory, Japanese manufacturer of whiskey used the latest technology to advertise his product. Marketers have used the idea of the CNC machine to create ice cubes in unusual shapes.
Cubes have various shapes: a Japanese temple, enraged shark, astronaut, guitars, horse, Mickey Mouse, the Statue of Liberty, ring with a big diamond, high-heeled shoes or Godzilla. It indicates a fascination with American culture.
Tokyo advertising agency, TBWA/Hakuhodo received for this project 6 awards at ADFEST, an international festival of 2015, the advertising industry.
