In the 1920s, director Claude Friese-Greene had fun filming the English capital, its streets, its so unique atmosphere in a collection of films called The Open Road. 86 years later, Simon Smith followed the footsteps of his predecessor armed with a camera and comparing the English city through two periods picture after picture.
