Hawa Mahal is an amazing building of red and pink sandstone, also known as the Palace of Winds. It was built at the behest of the Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, in Jaipur, India. Hawa Mahal was built in 1799. It is a part of the City Palace in Jaipur, which consists of, among others, Palace of Greeting (Mubarak Mahal), Hall of Private Audience (Diwan-i-Am) and Hall of Public Audience (Diwan-i-Khas).
