The South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SANCA) is a non-governmental organisation whose major objectives are the prevention and treatment of Alcohol and Drug Dependence. The first of these objectives is mainly achieved through the provision of treatment services for alcohol or drugs dependent people and their families.

This campaign is to inform that children born with foetal alcohol syndrome are more likely to be engaged in risky sexual behaviour, drugs or alcohol abuse or to be involved in crime activities.
