The Cullen Hotel by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects

Info 1
The Cullen Hotel located in Melbourne, Australia was designed by the practice of Jackson Clements Burrows Architects with a contemporary style that offers views of the city skyline and its name comes from the art of the late Australian painter Adam Cullen trying to create an ambiance that is in tune with his works.

The rooms are cool and contemporary, hosting original paintings and prints from the artist, and there are two restaurants and a bar as well in the hotel. The project is one of the Art Series Hotels group which was developed by the Asia Pacific Building Corporation and the design concept tries to generate punctuations and projections from a simple cubic form to activate the street frontage.

The hotel has 119 rooms including eight suites and other facilities include a gym with yoga deck, bike and Smart car rental and hair salon, while the rooms offer WiFi, LCD TV, iPod docks and an eco-friendly ambiance which uses natural ventilation through the central light well.
